Three moves that do most of the work

Local search is not mysterious, it is just neglected. Almost every profile we open has the same three gaps, and closing them is what moves a business into the map pack.

  1. Every service, described properlyMost owners leave the services section on whatever Google generated. You can open each individual service and write a real description, and Google reads every word of it. This is the single most skipped high-leverage field in the whole profile.
  2. Consistent listings everywhere that countsYour name, locality, and phone number identical across every major directory. Inconsistent listings actively suppress you, because Google cannot tell which version of you is real. Getting this right once pays for years.
  3. Content that answers real customer questionsPull the questions people genuinely type, then write one page per question with a real answer. Not blog filler. This is what pulls a local business into the map pack and, increasingly, into AI-generated answers.

If you are paying somebody for local SEO and they are not doing these three things, you are not paying for SEO. You are paying for hope. Ask to see your services section, your citation report, and the pages built in the last quarter.

The rest of what we do

Categories and attributes

Primary category is one of the strongest ranking factors in local search, and it is frequently set wrong. Secondary categories widen what you can appear for.

Reviews, systematically

Volume, recency, and replies all matter. We wire review requests into automation so asking stops depending on memory.

Photos and posts

Real, geotagged, current work rather than stock. Regular posts signal an active business.

Service-area setup

Defined properly for businesses that travel to customers, including keeping a residential address hidden where that applies.

Local landing pages

A genuinely distinct page per town you serve, not a template with the name swapped, which Google filters.

Q&A and structured data

Seeding the questions section, plus schema markup so search engines can read your business without guessing.

Being straight about timelines

Local SEO is the slowest and cheapest channel we run. Profile fixes can show movement in weeks; citations and content compound over months. Anybody guaranteeing a map pack position by a specific date is either lying or planning to use tactics that will eventually get your listing suspended. If you need leads this month, run paid alongside it and let the free channel build underneath.

Questions people actually ask

How long until I show up in the map pack?

Profile and category fixes can move things within a few weeks. Citations, reviews, and content typically take two to six months to compound, and competitive city centers take longer than smaller towns. Nobody can guarantee a specific position on a specific date, and a guarantee is a warning sign.

Do I have to show my home address?

No, and you should not. If you travel to customers you are a service-area business: you verify with your address but keep it hidden, and define service areas instead. Your city and region still do the geographic work for ranking.

Can you get bad reviews removed?

Only if they violate Google's policies, and we will file for those. Otherwise the strategy is to bury them under recent genuine ones and reply well publicly, which converts better than a spotless profile with no replies anyway.

Is local SEO worth it if I already run ads?

Usually more so. Ads stop the moment you stop paying; a profile and a set of ranking pages keep producing. The two also reinforce each other, because people who see your ad frequently search your name before they call.
